CLIMOA Annual Meeting and Other Meetings
The CLIMOA annual meeting is held in various cities across Canada, usually the second or third week of May. Membership in the association entitles attendees to a $100 discount off their registration fees for this event. Underwriters and other Insurance Professionals are welcome to register to attend the Annual meetings as non-members. The meeting consists of 2 full days and one half day of CME accredited medical education, with a focus on speakers, topics and approaches relevant to the specialized world of Insurance Medicine. A welcome reception and gala banquet are highlights of the event, and often the most prized memories are of the friendships and networks formed between likeminded individuals in a specialty whose few members are scattered widely in different cities and countries. Throughout the event, opportunities abound to fine-tune one’s skills and knowledge of Insurance Medicine and its specific requirements.
