CLIMOA Meetings
The annual meeting is held in various cities across Canada, usually the second or third week of May. Membership in the association entitles attendees to a $100 discount off their registration fees for this event. Underwriters and other Insurance Professionals are welcome to register to attend the Annual meetings as non-members. The meeting consists of 2 full days and one half day of CME accredited medical education, with a focus on speakers, topics and approaches relevant to the specialized world of Insurance Medicine. A welcome reception and gala banquet are highlights of the event, and often the most prized memories are of the friendships and networks formed between likeminded individuals in a specialty whose few members are scattered widely in different cities and countries. Throughout the event, opportunities abound to fine-tune one’s skills and knowledge of Insurance Medicine and its specific requirements. Members may now access the proceedings for 2006.
